Cabinet work

This is a cabinet job we did recently and loved how it turned out! It made a huge difference in this kitchen and really made the space stand out. 

We added an apron molding with a 41/2 inch cove crown, which is much better than the 31/2 inch crown molding that was there before! The cabinets were originally stained a golden oak, and we were challenged by the grain in the wood, but with delicate craftsmanship and a few coats of primer, we were able to make a smooth finish. We also sprayed the island with a "secret" black custom painted washed glaze and carried the cabinet paint into the living room where we painted the mantle and fireplace.
